Rick D. Nydegger Named SLC Attorney of the Month

SALT LAKE CITY (July 16, 2014) – Attorney at Law Magazine is pleased to announce that Rick D. Nydegger of Workman Nydegger was named the Attorney of the Month for Volume 1 Number 4.

Mr. Nydegger has made a career building legal shields for intellectual property rights. He played a significant role in helping to shape the U.S. patent system. Rick Nydegger was accepted and graduated from the second class of Brigham Young’s law school. “It was completely different form anything I had experienced as an electrical engineer,” he said. “Engineering is about looking for answers; law is about the questions being asked.”

Since law school, he as truly grown into his own. He is now an adjunct faculty member at BYU law school and served for two years as the president of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. “I had the chance to attend the Hall of Fame induction ceremony each year, and to host events and dinners with some of the most innovative people in the world,” Mr. Nydegger said.
